.......RAIN!
So much for the summer, it is quite a misserable drizzley day. That said though, myself and the rest of the clan will be popping round the corner in a bit for the local (our estate) garden show. Complete with a marqui and prize winning veg!
In other news, now that our visitors are all gone I am trying to settle back into a bit of a routine. Doing as the RULE OF LIFE suggests and "ordering the rhythm of the day". I started this morning by getting up early for a cup of coffee and some quite time with God and had a bit of a read of Daily readings with Mother Thereasa which proved to be very spiritually nourishing as well as making me feel a bit crap about my own efforts to follow God's will.
Over lunch I had a little flick through the order of service for my welcome service which arrived in this mornings post. And I have come to two conclusions. 1) I am rather nervous about this service (the Mayor is coming and they expect me to be coherant and stuff) and 2) Teso Chocolate brownie tray bake is EVIL (not only does it contain no milk whatsoever but it also tastes so moreish and has like a squigillion calories per 100g)
