I thought it would be a good idea to explain a little as to why I have decided to cut out Facebook.
First I am not doing it because I'm addicted. (I am but it's not the reason).
Second, I am not trying to say Facebook is bad. For what it is, it is very good.
Third, I am not doing it to make a point (at least I don't think I am).
I am doing this purely and simply because during lent, I want to spend some time reflecting on who I am in God. In this new post-post-modern world, who I am has to also include the digital me, the global me, the me that is in the public domain.
So I will spend at least some of my time considering what I share, why I share and of course what happens to the information I share, how does Facebook is it?
How is this 'me' a reflection of the image of God?
