Deacon's brew stage 2

Today was the day that the plum wine had to move house. Out of the bucket it went and into the demijohn.

The good news is that it does indeed smell like proper wine with a sweet hint of plums (and so much alcofrol that I got quite light-headed during the move). The bad news is that it does rather look like a sample from a camel with a bladder infection.  Ah well, you can't win them all.

Earlier we spent a very pleasant hour and a bit round Anne and Peter's house and met a few people from Greenfield Methodist.  I'm really not working yet honest I'm not!

But then again I am heading off to visit The Haven (one of my new churches with whom I have not had any contact yet) to see if I can meet some of the people. So maybe I am working, just a little bit.

Now settling in for a quiet night with a cold beer, some balti Bombay mix and Anchorman: the legend of Ron Burgundy. So goodnight and "You stay classy internetland"
