Howdy folks. Well Mum and Cliff made it safely across the border and have landed in the south. Today as a treat we all went to Drusillas Park just 5 minutes down the road. They say it is no ordinary zoo and they are not wrong! The place is brilliant (aside from the ticket price which was £85 for 6 of us) and fun and educational. It was very busy (which lead to a moment of excitement when Isaac disappeared into the jungle gym) and with good reason. "Four Arms" from Ben 10 was there in person (so to speak) and the boy was beside himself with excitement, until the reality of a 7 and a half foot four armed red alien was standing before him. Then the boys legs stopped working and apparently there was an invisible force field 1 meter and a half around big red, which we couldn't drag the boy beyond. Ah well, he did actually meet him earlier in the day by accident as he walked past us and he said hello.
We also got a ride on Thomas the Tank Engine and got lost in a "four elements" and "book of Genesis" themed maze. Oh yes and there were animals there as well!!
